Terms and Conditions

1. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User-Generated Content & Intellectual Property

• Ownership: Authors retain 100% ownership of all original text, book covers, synopsis descriptions, and stream content they upload or share on Elan & Lore.
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post. Sharing your works-in-progress, snippets, or plot outlines on the public feed or via live sprints is done entirely at your own risk. Elan & Lore is not liable for any intellectual property or plagiarism disputes between users.
• Content Prohibitions: You may not post copyrighted material belonging to others, nor stream copyrighted media (such as movies or commercial music) during writing sprints.

3. Fees and Premium Subscriptions

• Billing: Premium accounts are billed on a recurring monthly subscription basis of $6.00/month via Stripe.
• Cancellation & Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, your premium perks remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer partial refunds for mid-month cancellations.

4. Limitation of Liability

Elan & Lore and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
